Merchant Navy 4-6-2 8P class in 5" gauge live steam locomotive
BR No. 35017
Belgian Marine. The original design was O.V.S Bulleid
1937-49 and the locomotives of this class were numbered
35001-35030.
The
above named locomotive was first introduced in 1941 with
air smoothed casings - rebuilt 1956 with Walschaert valve
gear and modified detail, the air smoothed casing was
removed for easy maintenance.

construction phase started on the 1st September 1993, completed
by December 1999 making the total construction time to be
